Assassin’s Creed Shadows Fans: Here’s What’s Next
Assassin’s Creed Shadows players, brace yourselves! Ubisoft has announced that their hit RPG won’t get another expansion as huge as Claws of Awaji. But before you hang up your hidden blade in disappointment, there’s a silver lining. Ubisoft promises that they are “still working on content for post-launch and supporting it,” with chunkier updates planned for Year 2. In other words, while the days of massive DLCs might be behind us, there’s plenty of fresh, meaty content still on the horizon. 
What Does This Mean for the Game?
If you were hoping for another story expansion on the scale of Claws of Awaji, you might have to adjust your expectations. However, Ubisoft seems dedicated to keeping the game alive with regular and significant updates. This approach could keep gameplay fresh and the community engaged without overwhelming players with massive new storylines every few months.
Looks like Ubisoft is giving us the gaming equivalent of a steady diet instead of a giant feast. Maybe we’ll finally have time to finish all those side quests! Or at least try to, before the next “chunky” update drops.
