Support a Good Cause with Ed Sheeran’s Paintings
You can now own original artwork created by Ed Sheeran while supporting a noble cause. Starting July 10, a series of his paintings from the Cosmic Carpark Paintings exhibition will be available for purchase on the online art gallery HENI. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ed Sheeran Foundation, which focuses on providing music education for children in the U.K.
Ed Sheeran shared his motivation for this initiative, crediting his friend, artist Damien Hirst, for encouraging him to turn his hobby into a fundraising effort. During his downtime on tour last year, Ed often painted in a disused car park in Soho. He took advantage of this time to create vibrant, expressionist splash-style paintings inspired by celestial patterns. These artworks will also be on display at HENI Gallery in London from July 11 to August 1.
