Heartbreak at Al-Shifa Hospital
Dr. Mohammed Abu Salmiya, director of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, experienced unimaginable tragedy on Friday. He left his family home to fulfill his duty at the hospital, never expecting the heartbreak that would follow. While leading his team and caring for wounded patients, six of his own family members’ bodies arrived at the hospital. His personal loss played out in the same corridors where he had dedicated his life to saving others.
