Jaishankar’s Strong Message on Terrorism
India’s External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, recently addressed the Pahalgam terror attack during a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). He asserted that the attack was deliberately orchestrated to disrupt the tourism economy of Jammu and Kashmir and to create a religious divide. According to Jaishankar, such acts of terrorism require a firm and unified response from the global community.
Jaishankar emphasized that India would not waver in its fight against terrorism, urging nations, particularly China, to take a strong stance against this growing menace. He highlighted the necessity for collective action among countries to combat terrorism effectively. Jaishankar’s remarks serve as a reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by Jammu and Kashmir and the importance of international cooperation in addressing these issues.
