New Two-Clawed Dinosaur Species Unearthed in Gobi Desert

Exciting Discovery in Mongolia

Researchers recently uncovered fossils of a new species of two-clawed dinosaur in the Gobi Desert of Mongolia. This remarkable dinosaur, named Duonychus tsogtbaatari, belonged to the therizinosaurus group. The fossilized remains indicate that this dinosaur measured approximately 10 feet in length and featured two-fingered hands equipped with foot-long curved claws.

Weighing around 260 kg, Duonychus tsogtbaatari roamed the Earth about 90 to 95 million years ago. Researchers noted its long neck, small head, and feathered body, characteristics that add to our understanding of dinosaur evolution.
