Film trade analyst Komal Nahta has raised concerns about the devastating effects of piracy on movies. He pointed out that when a film leaks online, especially around its release date, it can significantly harm its box office performance. Nahta emphasized that the damage was already done once the film became available on pirated platforms. Such incidents not only affect box office numbers but also discourage the hard work and investment put in by the filmmakers and cast.
