Russia Sends Crew to International Space Station on Soyuz MS-28
While most of us enjoy Thanksgiving feasts on Earth, three astronauts have launched to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft. The crew, consisting of two Russian cosmonauts and American astronaut Chris Williams, blasted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Their mission will last eight months, marking a significant chapter in ongoing international space cooperation.

As families on Earth were carving turkeys, the Soyuz carved its way through the atmosphere toward orbit. The new crew joins the ISS for Expedition 73, symbolizing the enduring partnership between NASA and Roscosmos. Their journey highlights the spirit of exploration that keeps humanity reaching for the stars.
Eight Months of Science and Space Living
During their stay, the astronauts will conduct numerous scientific experiments, maintain the ISS, and support various research projects. Their mission is a testament to human curiosity and the power of teamwork across borders. One wonders if the ISS menu includes space turkey—guess there’s always freeze-dried pumpkin pie!
