Soyuz MS-28 Nears International Space Station for Exciting Docking
The Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft is making headlines as it approaches the International Space Station (ISS) for an automatic docking today at around 7:38 a.m. EST. This mission began with a launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 4:27 a.m. EST (that’s 2:27 p.m. local Baikonur time), showing us once again that space never sleeps. Aboard the Soyuz are three brave crewmates: NASA astronaut Chris Williams, and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev. Their destination? The station’s Rassvet module, where they’ll soon join their fellow space travelers.

A Global Journey to the Stars
This crew’s international makeup is a reminder of how space exploration brings people together—literally from around the globe! The Soyuz MS-28 mission highlights the ongoing cooperation between NASA and Roscosmos, proving once again that science knows no borders. With every docking, new adventures and discoveries await aboard the ISS.
Honestly, while most of us struggle with parallel parking, these astronauts are out here docking spaceships at 17,500 mph. Talk about a stressful morning commute!
