Heartbreaking Incidents During Carnival
During Bolivia’s carnival celebrations, nearly 70 people lost their lives in a series of devastating bus crashes. The accidents occurred when bus drivers engaged in reckless behavior, speeding and swerving into oncoming traffic on treacherous mountain roads.
This tragic event highlights the dangers that often accompany festive periods. The narrowness of the roads coupled with high speeds proved to be a lethal combination. Authorities are urging greater caution to prevent such catastrophic incidents in the future.
