UN Reports Gaza’s Safe Zones Are Not Safe
The United Nations has sounded the alarm about the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Despite being labeled as ‘safe zones,’ these areas in southern Gaza have become deadly for fleeing Palestinians. The UN reports that no place in Gaza offers true safety for civilians, especially for those escaping from Gaza City.

Catastrophic Conditions for Mothers and Newborns
UNICEF highlights the dire situation for mothers and newborns in these so-called safe zones. The lack of basic medical supplies, food, and clean water has put thousands of lives at risk. The crisis has already led to the death of over 66,000 Palestinians since October 2023, with famine and malnutrition claiming hundreds more each week.
UN Agencies Demand Immediate Ceasefire
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has joined other UN bodies in urging for an immediate ceasefire. UNRWA stresses that only a ceasefire can allow aid agencies to safely deliver food, water, and medical assistance to Gaza’s suffering population. The international community must act now to prevent further loss of life.
