UWF’s Cybersecurity Program Achieves National Recognition
The University of West Florida (UWF) has hit a major milestone! Its new AI specialization in the B.S. in Cybersecurity program has been officially approved as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Artificial Intelligence Program of Study by the National Security Agency (NSA) through 2030. That means if you want to study cybersecurity and AI, UWF is one of the top places in the country to do it. In fact, UWF is only the second university in the United States to earn this prestigious approval, joining an elite club of just six institutions nationwide.
This recognition not only boosts UWF’s academic reputation, but it also opens doors for students eyeing careers at the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. The future of tech is all about AI-powered security, and UWF is now at the forefront of preparing students for this brave new world. Now, that’s what we call leveling up your education!
If you thought the only thing exciting about Florida was the beaches, think again. UWF is clearly making waves in cyber education—and students get to surf right along with them.
