Humanitarian Crisis Intensifies

Millions of Yemenis face acute food insecurity due to ongoing conflict, economic collapse, and restricted humanitarian access. OCHA stressed that immediate international support is crucial to ensure food and medical supplies reach those in need. The agency urged the Security Council to use its influence to facilitate humanitarian aid and support peace efforts.

Global Responsibility

OCHA warned that without rapid intervention, Yemen could see one of the worst famine situations in decades. The organization called for coordinated global action, emphasizing that the lives of millions, including countless children, hang in the balance.
